Hi ya,

I have been on Suprecur for nearly 2 weeks now and to be honest I have not had any side affects at all. The needle is so tiny that you dont even feel it go in.

Just be relaxed and keep telling yourself its another step on the IVF ladder :-)

Once you've done the first injection you'll be fine, the fear of the pain is a lot worse that the reality which is that you hardly feel it at all.

Just make sure that you pinch really really well, then take a deep breath and get that needle in! Inject the liquid slowly as it can sting..

I found focussing on my breathing really helped me to be calm.. big slow breath in, needle in, breathe out, liquid in, done!

Hi.. This is my second cycle of taking it and honestly you get used to it. Side affect wise my boobs have grown and I'm grumpier than normal but after a successful round of ivf the first time it's all worth it. I finish my injections tonight and start the pesseries which I think are horrible .. Good luck x

I was really worried about injecting myself, especially as my husband is out if the country for my first round of IVF. However the injections have been absolutely fine, don't even feel the needle going in, first one was a little scary, only because it's not a natural thing to be stabbing yourself but honestly it really is fine and you will see that once you've done your first ones on Sunday. Good luck to you, I'm finally at the stage of trigger shot tomorrow evening!
