Hi I had 1 Blastocyst transferred 4 days ago and was wondering when I could do a home pregnancy test? We also have 7 Blastocysts frozen too.

That is amazing your little gems have gone along way. We did a pregnancy test on day 10 , but everybody is different it all depends if you had a hcg booster I heard from somebody else that it would be in your system for 5-10 days if you did, so you might not get a accurate reading. If you did not have the booster , then I would test anytime 7-10 days after transfer, we was told it can take 7 days for the egg just to implant.

It's not nice waiting and it's your decision if you feel like you want to see how's them little gems are doing

We used clearblue and first response if the hcg levels are above 25 then you will have a positive result. Hcg should double every 24 hours or so. So if it comes up negative on day 7-10 try on day 11 and so on.

We had the blood test done on day 14 which confirms if your pregnant, the hcg hormone has to be above 80 to be classed as pregnant, but if it's slightly lower than 80 they will do a follow up blood test two days later.

eat plenty of good food and drink a pint a milk a day,

Please keep us informed, and let me know how you get on.

All the best x
