Just a rant really, I'm spotting AGAIN. It's so stressful, I can't think about anything other than whether I'm bleeding and about to lose the baby. I know I have a small heamatoma so it might just be caused by this, but the fear is so huge. Pleeeaase just stop. Any advice hugely welcome xxx

8w and yet more spotting, so stressful
No advice but just wanted to say I completely empathise and have had spotting for the first 7 weeks of this pregnancy and now again at 13 weeks. I’ve had 4 scans to date and baby is all fine but I am also constantly anxious as to why this spotting won’t bog off and if it’s about to all end!!!
Have your early pregnancy clinic suggested anything?
I’m so sorry - I’m spotting daily too at almost 10 weeks and will have to go and check whether things are okay this week (haven’t had a scan since 6+4).
It’s just a constant worry, I’m frightened to go to the toilet to get more worrying information, frightened to get a scan, frightened of everything.
Hoping that yours resolves very quickly and it’s nothing but the heamatoma xxx
Hi, I don’t have any real advice on the spotting but I have had my worries through this pregnancy for several reasons including previous chemical my sis was like well this is just practice for when the baby arrives as everyday is a worry!
Thank you all for your replies, and sorry to hear you are all going through the same thing! It is such a worry, every toilet trip feels like it is about to kill my dreams! It's such a nightmare. Both the clinic and the EPU don't seem to be hugely up for offering more scans but I think I'll have to push for one as I can't wait till my 12w scan in Jan. I'll go mad. Did any of you get any advice from EPU or do they just tell you to live with it?
before 12 weeks I was just told it would stop on its own and in fairness it did. I’ve had some tests since for infections as they can cause spotting in early second trimester.
When I miscarried though earlier this year, they were clear what was happening and what I should expect. So I suppose it’s good they aren’t saying that even if they can’t help much?
Hope it stops for you x
Hiya,I ended up having 3 hematomas come away with almost constant spotting between weeks 5 - 11...
I know exactly how you feel and even at 16ws now I still have anxiety going to the toilet because of the shock I had when they came away.
Just try and believe it'll all work out and stay as calm as possible - however I know from experience how tricky that is 🙈😥
Just trust that shortly it'll all stop and your baby is fine.
Good luck x x☺️
Hi ButtercupGarden. Oh you poor love! I think you're right, it is probably just from the haematoma and should stop once your placenta is established fully. Look forward to your next scan, which I am certain will reassure you. Sadly, it is so common and means nothing only instils panic. I feel sure you will be fine. Love and hugs. Diane
