It's been a very long time since I've posted. However I am pregnant again (2 previous losses 1 successful ivf pregnancy). This was a spontaneous pregnancy. I am 8 weeks have been bleeding for a week and a half now. So far I have had 3 good ultrasounds with a growing baby and healthy heartbeat..they saw a small "bleed" on the sac and said it "usually corrects itself" has anyone had a similar experience?

Hi Hopeful1986 congratulations on your pregnancy. I wasn’t going to reply because I didn’t want to scare you, but I’ve decided to so that I can hopefully help in some way.
I had a small 2cm bleed (a subchronic haematoma). It was only noticed at 12 weeks which was just after I reduced my dosage of progesterone at 11 weeks (following ivf). Like you they told me to take it easy and that it should go away itself.
4 weeks later, at 16 weeks, we lost our boy. 💔
I don’t know for sure whether it was linked to the bleed, but I wish I had pressed to continue on with progesterone - which I believe can help sustain a pregnancy especially when there’s bleeding. I’ve now been informed that if I fall pregnant again, I will be on progesterone all the way through to 30 weeks.
I would ask your midwife if you can take progesterone and I’d also bed rest. I didn’t bed rest (although I was taking it easy) and I wish I had done nothing at all incase that would have helped.
I hope it resolves for you. I was told that what happened to me was extremely rare and in most cases pregnancies do continue xxx
Hi I had 2 massive bleeds at 6 weeks and they found a subchorionic hematoma. I put myself on bed rest for 2 weeks and at my 8+4 scan the hematoma was completely gone.
Try not to worry and rest as much as possible. I was told not to walk for more than 20 mins at a time, no sex and no heavy lifting.
Look on my post about subchorionic hematoma, a lot of ladies have had the same and it's resolved itself x
