Same sex IVF help!

We have got our initial appointment in 5 weeks and we don't know what to expect. We got the appointment through very quickly, only spoke with GP mid August.

We can't find much on how we are wanting to proceed with this. We are wanting to use my partners egg and myself carry, purely so we both have a attachment with the baby. We can't find out if this is an option and how it would go if we are able to proceed this way.

Also wondering how long it took from initial appointment to starting the tests?
