Dear all,

Just started this drug and I’m getting bloody watery discharge (sorry tmi) and quite severe cramps!! Has anyone else had these issues before??

Hi Allthingsivf.

Sorry you are experiencing this. Northisterone is a horrible drug. I didn’t suffer what you are but had every other side effect (pain, headaches and very grumpy)! Maybe check with your clinic if you are worried or was there a leaflet in the pack? Sometimes they will list possible issues. Hope you haven’t got to be on it too much longer!

Thank you! I did give them a ring, apparently it’s my body wanting to have a period. She said it’s all very common symptoms! It is horrible though xxx

Yes I was on norothisterone and it completely messed me up so badly. I thought I was pregnant because I was getting all the pregnancy symptoms they said no it's the side effects from the pills.
