Hi, has anyone here taken the vaccine before starting their IVF journey and had a good response or you are pregnant now? Can you please share your story?
I have been delaying taking the vaccine as I’m worried about the rumoured link to infertility and being 42, I don’t have many chances left. Thanks.

Hi Winniep,I've had my covid vaccines a couple of months ago and I'm just starting IVF now. The clinic said there's no evidence of a link between the vaccine and infertility, but equally there's much data yet.
With the Delta variant on the rise, my nurse told me today that a couple of her patients had to stop treatment because they tested positive for covid. That must be so devastating. So I'm personally glad I've taken it and I hope it keeps me virus free. Good luck and take care x
Thanks so much for your comment. I finally took my first dose on Saturday and I feel happy to have made that decision with the help of all the people who have reassured me here. Good luck with your treatment. x
Hi there I’ve just had my second dose vaccine and am about to start my IVF treatment, all the consultants I’ve spoken to and my GP all recommended having the vaccine before starting the treatment so I felt it was best to go ahead with it. Hope it all works out for you, best wishes and good luck x
Hi, I had my first vaccine in January, frozen transfer in March and I’m 18 weeks pregnant, I was advised by my clinic to have it if offered prior to treatment, I’m waiting til I’m a little further along to have my second vaccine ☺️
