No IVF side effects yet?

Hello, I’m on day 5 of injections (GonalF 450) and started injecting Cetrotide also yesterday. I haven’t felt any side effects yet (apart from the sting after Cetrotide) and am concerned maybe they’re not working? Had anyone else had a similar experience? I’m wondering if the side effects will kick in after a few more days

Hi Katie, I’ve not had any side effects for all my 3 rounds, even on the maximum dosage. I think it must differ for everyone but I was fully expecting to turn into some monster! I think the worst part is the 2 week wait until the test, your emotions are everywhere and that’s the only time I’ve felt moody/headachey. Fingers crossed you also won’t feel the symptoms! Thanks Marvel, that’s reassuring to hear! Yes - I’ve presumed from all I have read that I was going to be an emotional wreck, so I was a little nervous to not be feeling anything.

Hi Katie, I didn’t have any side effects either other than I just started to feel the presence of my ovaries after about a week. On my day 7 scan the nurse exclaimed, you’ve been busy! And I had absolutely tons of follicles, so no side effects definitely doesn’t mean it’s not working. Good luck x

Thanks Canwyyyyl, that’s also reassuring to hear! I have my first mid-stim scan tomorrow morning, so fingers crossed the nurse says something similar to me! x
