I did a blood test for liver and ultrasound.. my blood test for liver functions normal but my liver shows altered texture and altered indulating margin. And diameter of portal vien is 0.5 with normal view. What should I do? Should I do MRI ? Is my situation is dangerouse and I nedd an evaluation for liver transplanet? Please advice me. Note: my doctor refuse to do MRI , only ultrasound every 6 months. But I can do MRI in another hospital.

Your tests are suggestive of fibrosis. The next step should be a liver stiffness test such as FibroScan. MRI won't help much but MRE would give you real answers. Potentially a serious condition but not hopeless.
