I'm concerned, because I'm on meds for blood pressure and mood. I stopped one. But I'm on Diltiazem for BP and I asked my cardiologist and my gastro doc whether I should change or stop.
The answer was, " No, it's got your BP under control"
Well, I looked up the Diltiazem and it's listed as being very damaging for the liver. I don't know what to do. I can't prescribe myself a different medication!

I don't fine info that it is very dangerous. Complications are considered rare but some people are sensitive to it. You might discuss with your pharamacist about other BP meds and perhaps there are alternatives but here is a link that discusses it.
I had it out with my heart dr 4 years ago. He was determined I take his meds. My body rejected Statins, he tried everything and I finally told him, his pills were killing my liver and I was going to die if my liver shuts down so his dam pills didn't mean a thing to me. He later called me and apologized for pushing meds on me. He didn't know what NASH was and he looked it up and got educated about it. Now every time he sees me he says, Oh that's right your my Nash patient. Educate your Dr. they only know their own expertise.
From what I read it is rare that it will affect the liver. It is metabolized by the liver and excreted through urine and if your liver is fully functional your doctor is probably thinking the good outweighs the risk. I agree with Wayne, talk with your pharmacy they specialize in all that! I never thought about it before then someone suggested it so I hit them up occasionally, they are very nice about it.
