I feel that this aspect of liver disease doesn't get enough attention so have let Maggie post here notice here. Consider it if you have experience.

My name is Maggie and I am with LaGrippe Research. We are currently inviting those diagnosed with Cirrhosis or Hepatic Encephalopathy as well as those caring for someone diagnosed with one of these conditions to participate in our upcoming discussion. We would like to gain input and opinions on several concepts related to these conditions. This will be in the form of a 90-minute small group discussion and those that qualify and participate will be compensated $150 as a thank you for your time. Participants must live in the USA.

If you are interested, please fill out our preliminary questions online here: surveymonkey.com/r/7X529HK

If you have any questions, please contact Maggie at 847-373-4104 or email maggie@lagripperesearch.com

Does this mean you can get hepatic encephalopathy without cirrhosis?

The condition is named hepatic which means it resulted from the liver. I imagine there is the potential to disrupt the ammonia detoxification system without having cirrhosis, some toxin for example, but the common course would be cirrhosis.
