I just realized maybe constantly drinking green tea is not such a good idea. Recently my slightly fatty liver graduated to an enlarged organ. I am tired have difficulty getting a deep breath sometimes.
Anyone have negative side effects from brewed green tea?
Never GT extracts. But I have been consuming brewed green tea all day everyday for about 20 months. Sometimes its all I drink.

I don't recall anyone commenting on drinking as much tea as you seem to indicate but generally green tea is viewed as a benefit. As you noted, green tea extract has been flagged as dangerous so I suppose it is possible to drink too much. You didn't mention your diet which is usually the culprit. If the liver enlarging was sudden you might consider a possible infection or toxic reaction to something as that is a more common cause of sudden change. In your case I guess you are suspecting the tea.
Drinking the amount you're saying could be a problem... In Sencha, a tea company, they list liver disease as the number 8 side effect. Quoting... Green tea supplements and high consumption of green tea can lead to liver damage and disease. Experts believe this is due to a build up of caffeine that can stress the liver. To avoid this side effect avoid consuming more than 4 to 5 cups of green tea every day. ... I looked up on another device. I looked up too much green tea side effects... I guess what they say about moderation is true... Definitely worth talking to your Dr.
I was just getting caught up some and was thinking to myself as I was reading a few posts... Man, some of these old people sure have it hard. lol Then the wet trout of reality slapped me upside the head … YOU’RE 65. It is weird as $hit being the same age as old people 🤣 Go Chloe!
