I literally get up and go to bed everyday/ night in pain and discomfort on both my left and right sides. They seem to alternate in intensity. I don't what can be done. Gastroenterologist appt not till next month...speaking to my doctor tomorrow about a referral for an endocrinologist to get to get the bottom of my persistent and bothersome thyroid and hormonal related problems. Again, my doctor brushes those off too...just like the rest of I've been dealing with for over a year now. I'm about to my end of limitations, both physically, emotionally and mentally. Right now, I only see one way out of this to rid me of all of this......its coming soon. Often, of late, my prayers include not waking up anymore to endure another day of this.....this uncertainty, this......

Please don’t lose hope. I know it’s difficult to wait for the appointments, but don’t despair. I’m rooting for you. 🙏🏻

Don't quit. The liver is the one organ that can repir itself with a clean Mediterranean diet. You need to cut out all sugar from your diet, including hidden sugars and white bread flours and white pastas. Also stop processed foods. You will notice a difference very quickly. There is a great support group on Facebook called Reverse Fatty liver support group. You will learn a LOT from this group. Hope you get your answers soon.

Thank u. I have been following the Mediterranean diet, but there is obviously I've missed in cutting out. I've heard the words,"hidden sugars", but don't recall or know what they are. Sorry for my naivety/ stupidity!! I haven't done refined white foods or processed foods in many years. My diet is organic in nature. I'm obviously missing something!! I literally feel like I'm going downhill a little more each and everyday. This has been a part of me for over a year now....Im really getting close to just throwing the towel in!! Im so fearful of this progressing.......signed SCARED!!!!

I feel for you Everyone here is at a different stage and situation with their liver problems I and many others feel the same on a yo yo sort of basis You can’t give up or in though otherwise how would we all benefit from your experience??? You need to work out what you keep on learning and passing it on to others who also seek answers You can get help with the other stuff on a different Forum specifically geared to all the mental/emotional stuff Nobody here will judge you in any way You just have so much to give/offer, so firstly concentrate on that and then get help for yourself Others might argue you do it the other way around but, it is harder to move from negative to positive thinking than from positive to negative Give yourself a Pat on the back when you sort this out xxxxx
