Hi! So I had some blood work and all my levels are in the normal range now except for the first time my sat was higher then alt although still in normal range? I am kinda worried cause I have read if ast is higher then alt it could be cirrhosis?! Is this true even with my levels being in the normal range? Ast 28 and alt 20. My doctor said it would be 10-20 years before I got cirrhosis if I even got it, but now that kinda has me worried.... it hasn’t been even close to 10 years yet..... and I had blood work done actually two days ago and my ast was lower then my alt but now tonight at the er it was higher Friday ast was 20 and alt was 23 confused please help

Ur test sgot and sgpt is quite normal and no worry if ur LFT liver function is normal

But if you want to clear it from mind go for test hepatitis c and b

And if .if positive then must go to Hepatology department (liver)doctor but not go to any doctor except gastro
