Itchy skin

I have been having itchy skin around my ankle mostly not really severe time to time .Does that mean I have chriosis ? Please some can tell me ?

I have NASH .They told me a month ago on ultrasound.

itchy skin is a common symptom of liver disease but whether you have cirrhosis or not is something only your doctor can tell you. There are a lot of things that can make you itch besides a liver problem so it isn't diagnostic.

The only answer I know of is to try to find a more supportive doctor. We can sympathize but can't really be much help medically.

I have cirrhosis and I itch once in a while, but since started on the research program it is wild. They told me their would be itching, but if you could see my ankles up to my cafes and my upper arms, your itching would seem mild. Mostly at night. They say it is just a sign of the liver over working, not whether you have cirrhosis or not.
