I took an ultrasound for my liver about a week ago. I know for a fact the doctor has received them because the records are already uploaded to the patient portal. I can view them at any time, but I don't want to. I know that the doctor has had them for almost a week. My question is, the doctors at the radiology center certainly look at each ultrasound. If my ultrasound was really bad or if they had really bad news to deliver to the patient, wouldn't they get a hold of the doctor that day to get a hold of me? Other people I have talked to have said they knew people that were told of the results the same day when things were bad, but then again I read different things online.
