Update. MELD is 13 up one point in 6 months but was said to be 12.84 6 months ago so with MELD that can jump around still in pretty good shape. Liver is compensated and my CTP lists me at B7 but if I read correctly MELD is favored over CTP. Why would then a Doctor want both a MELD and CTP level. Sort of seems it is double info that only one source is really needed.

They are both calculations but serve a different purpose. MELD is really designed for hospitalized patients and was built to give probability of death within a period of time. CTP intends to give a measure of disease at this time so they are different ways of thinking about the disease.
