Hi my name is Catherine I have been diagnosed with Chrosis but no one can tell me what stage I am having pain in my right quardrant schedule for an EUS test outpatient on Halloween morning to see what the pain is. Has anyone else has this test?

Hi! When I was first diagnosed I had a long sit down with my GI doctor and a liver specialist she works with to get all my questions answered. Have you been able to do that?

No when I ask what stage they DNT know. I had my gallbladder removed the end of June was pain free for a few weeks now hurting again??

Do you see a liver specialist? Keep asking questions.

Welcome Catherine, I to have so much pain in Liver and Spleen area, My Liver Dr. Says you can't experience pain in Liver, that's how I discovered this disease vto begin with. I was told after biosopy that I have had this for at least 10 years and that was 3 years ago. I do not drink and would probably be dead if I was a drinker. Unfortunately, info on this disease isn't given much from Doctors, I was told to lose weight, cut down on protein and coffee at first now I'm being told to increase protein due to losing muscle mass and drink at least 4 cups of coffee a day. I have done 1 Clinical Trial for Portal Hypertension and have been offered another which I'm considering. My husbands doctor told me if I have shunt put in it would worsen my Encepholothy. I have not heard of the test your referring to but would appreciate any info about this disease.

Thank you Hnybny33 I'm sorry for your illness . I had the EUS procedure on Tuesday. It's when they go down your throat with a tube and an sonigram camera is attached . The doctor said he found no cysts, tumors or cancer . But we still don't know where the pain is coming from.
