Hi, started LCHF 9days ago. Have been doing IF on and off for a few months as this tends to be my normal eating pattern, so I have been extending the fasts. Normally 16/8 or 18/6, completed a 20/4 fast 4 days ago. Had been reading through some older posts on this forum where people had been doing longer fasts and the benefits of this. Thought I would give this a try so ended a 48hr fast last night, it was easier to complete than I thought it would be. Did have hunger pangs but took this as a good sign, boredom and eating routines where harder to get through. My family expressed concern when they found out how long I had gone without eating, told me I might feel light headed or lacking in energy. I actually felt fine, I could have extended the fast for longer but not sure what benefits I would get from this. Weighed in today, a bit disappointed only lost 2 1/2lbs.
