Before we got "civilised", when we were hunter-gatherers, we often did not eat for days - and this is still normal in some tribes today.
Fasting is, perhaps, the one thing on which the Prophet Mohammed, Buddha and Jesus Christ agreed - and fasting has been practised in many regions, cultures and religions for thousands of years.
You have to fit fasting into your work/family/social schedule...
You can eat breakfast and fast late, or you can miss breakfast.
You can have a binge/party weekend and then fast for 36 hours!
Cooking is a potential problem... cooking food for others makes it difficult to not eat, and eating anything would break your fast.
You can substitute low-starch ingredients into your existing recipes - and you can cook potato for the rest of the family but have none yourself.
I hope your "nearest and dearest" will want you to live (and thrive) for an additional ten years?
