As there is so much interest in fasting and IF I think the more we know the better. What I particularly like that they say how important eating healthy food, exercise and a good nights sleep are all very important to good health and obviously a sense of well being.
Equally important is their advice on who should not fast without consulting their Dr as we have to promote fasting in a way that is safe and one that is beneficial.
Many people fast for weight loss but its only part of the equation as weight loss has many aspects so fasting should be seen as one of the many tools to help with weight loss.
I'm also fascinated in the religious aspect off fasting which helps to temper our ego's but that's another story.
My advice is prepare your mind and body for fasting and you will achieve your goals easier. 😊
This guide does contain some useful information, but some of the information is incorrect:
16/8 does not necessarily involve skipping breakfast... I eat breakfast and do not eat in the evenings.
On the linked guide about types of Intermittent Fasting, it says the 20/4 or the "warrior diet" involves eating a "huge meal" in the evening - this is nonsense... and would be more like One Meal A Day (OMAD).
Nowhere does it say that you need to transition to "Not Eating All Day" gradually.
