Hi, I am a 3rd year student at Bournemouth University and I am trying to get a better understanding of facial palsy and bells palsy as part of my work for my course. I have tried to talk to charities to get personal stories and more information about it but they have said that people are very private and don't like sharing their stories. That's why I thought I would ask everyone on this community to see what you think and whether this is true?
Any help would be much appreciated

I am happy to provide you with details. I went down with BP on the left side of my face in April 2013 and then the right side in September 2013. If you have any questions, drop me an email to mickchalmers@blueyonder.co.uk.
I would happily share my experience with you. I'm 26 years of age and have had Bell's palsy my entire life, it has never got better and they say there's nothing they can do.
