so I am the new recruit,and am looking for anyone who can give me some tips on exercise & eating healthier, I work shifts so can't always do exercise when I would like to, i am determind to see things through.

Thanks - to be clear, I'm not able to give you clinical advice here. But on making time for exercise, don't forget that you don't have to do it all at once. A couple of 10 minute walks throughout the day will soon get you hitting that step count - or you could swap one out for one of the shorter workouts. It'll soon grow to be a habit!
