Does Soiling always require disimpaction?

My son has been on laxido since July 2023. Weve disimpacted in the past but for months he has been doing great on just 1 sachet a day. Until recently where he wasnt given a sachet for a couple of days, he now has got the fear again and soiling his pants. I wouldnt say he was overly constipated as he is still pooing every couple of days, a number 4 on chart, but prior to doing so he jumps around saying he doesnt need and walks on his tip toes like he is holding it in.

Should i just up the dose or does this need disimpacting again? He went for a poo yday and hasnt soiled since but im u sure how many sachets to give him

hi. Just done my first disimpactation with my daughter and everything I read said to do it again, as it won’t harm them and if not too constipated it wouldn’t take long to clear.

Thank you. Ive got him up to 6 sachets and he did a really watery poo earlier so dont think it should take long. Its just hard trying to fit all the sachets in whilst he attends nursery. Hoping he has got over his fear after going for a poo a couple of times today and he said it wasnt sore and seemed happy.
