So we are on day 3 of disimpaction... 6 sachets and to say its been a struggle to get her to take them!!

How do we know if it is all out? .. . Her poo is very soft think like liquid dark brown, then can go back to being fluffy after 2 or 3 times at the toilet .... have we managed disimpaction or does it have to be like brown water rather then a thicker liquid???

Please help a stress mammy and little girl out X

When you achieve watery stools with no lumps consistently for 3 days then you are there, only then do you start reducing the doses down extremely slowly ie one sachet every 3 days until you reach a suitable maintenance dose to remain on. How old is your child? You need to work upto the maximum dose for their age to fully disimpact.

Needs to be straw coloured watery stools consistently for at least 3 days to achieve full disimpaction. I used to give my son his and disguise it with some diluting juice and he seem to tolerate it better. Don’t give up too early and start reducing the dose as you will end up having to start the whole disimpaction again. Good luck

where are people getting this “3 day rusty water” idea from? Eric doesn’t recommend that at all?
