what can I do? Been potty training for over a year he’s meant to be starting school in September, I don’t know what I’m missing. I give him lactose daily and get him to sit on the toilet but only small bits come out.
Feel like such a failure. Everyone keeps saying ‘it’ll just click one day” 🙈🙈🙈
Has he been treated for chronic constipation with a plan for disimpaction?
No GP just said to change his diet, but that didn’t make any difference, so we’re trying to navigate it ourselves.
My daughter didn’t poo on the toilet til she was just over 6 years old.
Yes it’s so tough, did it just click with her? Or did you do anything?
She just used to poo in her pants, never did it at school. She used to poo as soon as she walked in the door. Wees were fine, just poos. We literally tried everything, then we bought a book ‘Help, i poo my pants” for girls (there’s a boys version. Within 2 days she was pooing on the toilet. It was a miracle!
