Hello, I have signed up to this site in desperate need of help.
My son turned 3 this month and has been with holding his poo since before Christmas. We had him on a daily does of laxido and tried to reduce / get rid of it too early.
Now he is up to 2 sachets a day but really doesn't like pooing on the potty and will do anything to get out of it. This morning he told me he doesn't like the smell and we often see him crouched in a corner and his poor little face as he tries to hold the poo in
Any suggestions please? We have tried a potty book, bubbles, sticker chart, chocolate bribes. Surely there is another solution?!

Our 3yr old was exactly the same, hated the potty for doing poos and would hide under the tablen if he did do one after a big dance to try and keep it in. We too stopped Lamido too soon when he had a good spell. So it's really important to mix the Lamido with the correct amount of water, give daily and just allow time. Our boy has been refusing to poo on the potty for nearly 1.5 years, but within the last 3 weeks has been going and doing really well. Lots of sitting on the potty with no pussure to do a poo, read stories, singing, TV etc and hopefully it will just click on day like it has done with our little one.
