Help with soiling

My Grandson is nine he has no feeling when he goes to the loo and soils himself he needs help

Is he currently taking anything to help him go? soiling is a sign of impaction and therefore you need to disimpact him.

We tried that but he has no feelings down there ,thanks

As Aethawk says. It does take time to get these sensation back. Also what is he currently in to help him go?he needs to be in a maintenance dose for as long as the problem persisted in the first place before you can even consider reducing the doses down to try and wean off the medication.

My grandson was the same, when uYou did the disimpaction, did you get it down to rusty water and keep it like that for 3 days? It takes quite a long time to get the feeling back once it is lost. After disimpaction, you then have to find the right meds and quantity to get to maintenance level, which can take many months
