Can anyone recommend a fibre supplement for an 11 Yr old, I've looked at fibre gummies but there quite pricey for my daughter to just turn her nose up at, she is so parky and fussy getting movicol in her sometimes is a chore and a half, I'm so scared we end up back in hospital or her getting so unwell with her bowels again 😢

We’ve changed Pediatric Movicol to an adult version which is lemon-like flavoured. I mix it with the 1/3 glass of water and then top it up with orange juice. I’ve tried it myself and you really can’t taste Movicol at all. Just remember that 1 sachet for adults is an equivalent of 2 doses of Pediatric. We are on 2 doses a day anyway, otherwise I’d give her only half a sachet if an adult version. I also give her fibre supplement called Culturelle Kids Biotics natural fibre. I mix it with a drink and it’s tasteless.
