During this very difficult time, we want to assure everyone who needs our help that ERIC will continue to be here offering support to families and those caring for children living with bowel and bladder challenges. As a charity with over 30 years' experience, we know that dealing with wee and poo problems can cause a huge amount of stress. It’s clear that the current situation we are facing is going to test us all in many different ways.

ERIC is made up of a small but very dedicated team. We are extremely grateful for all the messages we have been receiving from our service users and partners asking how they can support us. The best thing you can do is keep using our services and donate what you can, when you can, to help us keep running!

We will continue working with our funders and partners to deliver services to families, wherever you are in the UK.

Here’s what we’ll be doing:

Our Freephone Helpline will continue to operate as normal. If the lines are busy, please fill out our online form to arrange a call back: Helpline opening hours and online contact form can be found here: eric.org.uk/helpline

You may decide now is the time to use a bedwetting alarm or give potty training your best shot - our shop is dispatching online orders as before and continues to operate as normal. We may not be able to rival the online giants when it comes to cost, but every penny you spend with us goes back into delivering our services. Check out our online shop: eric.org.uk/Pages/Shop/Defa...

There will be some long days at home ahead… the ERIC website is a fantastic source of information and resources for families looking to manage and treat children's bowel, bladder and toileting conditions. Look out for links to these materials on our social media channels over the coming weeks. If you fancy sharing your story, toileting tips or suggestions for new content why not drop us a line? Email: alina@eric.org.uk

Dealing with these issues can be very isolating at the best of times, so for peer to peer support from other parents and carers who ‘get it’ head to our community message boards on HealthUnlocked. Our signposting page also has lots of other organisations and support groups listed: eric.org.uk/useful-links

We also have some exciting new projects to share with you in the coming months so watch this space.

Our Paediatric Continence Care Conference is still going ahead in Birmingham this October. Book by April 30th to secure our super early bird rate.

There are sadly some changes we’ve had to make to our planned face-to-face activities and training. We will be in touch individually with anyone who will be affected.

Thank you for reading this message and our very best wishes to you and your family.

The ERIC team x
