My 13yr old son knowingly soils his pants then after he sees it he doesn't do anything but pull his pants up and go about his day...or night! Weather he sees this in the morning and goes to school all day dirty or notices before bed and sleeps in them all night!!! What does this mean?? Why is he doing this??

He could well be constipated and have reduced sensation as a result. I wouldn’t focus too much on his response- the fact he’s not cleaning himself straight away- I would focus on treating the constipation instead - is he using movicol or Senna?

At home we have wipes next to the loo and a bin so my son can clean himself easily. Also fresh pants and pass available (my son has to wear pads)

Yes, now I understand it all a bit more. I would defo say the soiling sounds like overflow from impaction. I thought my daughter was not bothering about having ‘accidents’ but now I realise she had no control or sensation of the soiling whatsoever. We have just completed the disimpaction with laxido sachets and trying to work our a maintenance dose for her. Have you seen your GP about it? They can prescribe medication to help get things sorted.
