My daughter seems to get worse poo wise when she’s anxious about things like starting school , going on holiday etc. We’re going on holiday on Tuesday and OMG I’m so stressed!! Trying to pack for everyone and meanwhile she’s trying to withhold again 😩
Does anyone else notice there children are badly behaved when there withholding? I’m literally losing my mind today and just had to rant.

Oh definitely. If she’s refusing to go then she’s foul! My daughter soils more if she’s nervous, although this is easing up a little.
I was dreadful and on holiday just wouldn’t “need” to go for anything up to 10 days 🙄 it’s so annoying. Have you tried making poo friendly? My LG is frightened of “him” so we’ve bought various books about Mr Poo riding the flush flume etc and we talk about Mr Poo and how he’s just knocking on her button door...it seems to help! I’m not mad, honest!! X
How old is your daughter? Mine is 5 and we have been having this constipation/ with holding for 3 years. I do feel like we have came a massive way with it all but it’s at times she nervous or anxious and it’s sooooo frustrating because it’s at times where I’m busy trying to organise trips etc. So then I’m trying to pack, keep an eye on her so I can tell her to go to the toilet, up her medication and stress weather I’m doing the right thing and also deal with a terribly behaved and non compliant child 🤦🏼♀️
Iv got a few books and the poo app but il have a look at these ones.. she loves a poo book so she does 😂
Thanks for your reply I was up the wall the other day xx
Mine is 5 1/2 as well, it’s so frustrating because you know they just need to go!! I’ve tried to take no notice of the disgusting pants and have just popped a dry like me pad in, which helps with clean up!! Lol. I’ve also started giving her some probiotics which seems to be helping. Weirdly she is fine at the weekends but terrible when she’s at school 🤷♀️ She has been like this since she was very small so completely understand your frustration. Xx
