Pulling my hair out

Deimpacted my 13yo autistic grandson over a week ago, the first few days since had been going not to badly just slightly soiling his pad but the last two days it feels as if I'm back to square one with him heavily soiling his pad on top of him going to the toilet two or three times a day with prompting, he maintains that he still hasn't the urge to go on his own and doesn't know when he is ready, at my wit's end.

Hi,

Tough times for all! Are you confident the disimpaction worked by either checking correct consistency or confirming with x-ray. You will need to rule out overspill. If it’s all clear I wonder if he needs a stimulant laxative as well as or instead of a softener. Would be worth a chat with his doctor.

Hoping it will get easier soon
