Potty Training for Speech Delayed Child

Hi!

I am looking for some tips. My son is 4 and starts Reception in September. He has had a constipation issue which is much better. For quite a while now, he will sit on the loo for 1/2 an hour but will not release wee. We have tried reading, playing games, bubbles and none of this is helping to release. He is happy to poo on the loo but it is the wee wee which needs work. He know all the stages e.g sit, poo, wipes his own bottom, flush and wash hands. If I put him in pants he will either hold it in all day until bath time or wet himself. He generally is in pull ups and ever so often I try pants for a few days.

So, wonder if there are any tips on releasing wee?
