Terrific Fruits That Make Kids Poo

It's summertime in the Northern Hemisphere and there are so many wonderful fruits that make kids go that are readily available. Here are some of my favourites:

* mangoes. Cube pieces so kids can eat easily

*nectarines and peaches. Delicious and they work wonderfully.

*black cherries

If your kid won't eat them alone, you can make smoothies in the blender with juices or even Senna tea. Or mix the fruits with unflavoured yoghurt.

My son's osteopath recommended boiling up organic bananas (with the skins on) for a few minutes, then strain and leave to cool, then drinking the liquid - has an amazing laxative effect!

That's really interesting, what does it taste like as my son is funny about some things especially things he has to drink (too many years of Movicol!). I'm surprised as I was also told that bananas can exacerbate constipation so avoid giving him many although he loves them, may give this a try. Thanks.

I have to pop a bit of squash in it too as my son wouldn't drink it otherwise! Looks a grey kind of colour - the osteo (who is some kind of magic lady with huge knowledge) said it something to do with the minerals/vitamins or whatever in the skin, which is where most of whatever this mineral/vitamin is! Should've paid more attention! Hence, why you keep the skin on and the reason why they need to be organic.
