Constipation one year old

Hello, my one year old baby girl has been waking at 5am over the past week, this is unusual and I seem to have been able to link it with very solid stools. I'm wondering if she is waking with pain from constipation.

Could be - take her to the GP and get her some stool softeners if it's been a week or longer. Movicol is usual, although for 'one or two days' lactulose is often used (though it's not very strong).
