I was working for Mtn Franchise for the period of 3years. I gained a lot of experience because I had none relevant experience. Due to the epilepsy I have a specific date to collect medicine.
Because it's a telecommunications industry. We had a slow months of production for the business. And the owner had one on one meetings, for daily, weekly & monthly targets. It's happened that as I have explained above slow production of the business.
I was not performing according to the standard of the company. The owner issued a letter of section 189 from the Labour Department. States that employer can cut hours, days, dissmiss, and fire the employee.
There was another incident that happed to me. I send a WhatsApp group message that I might be running late, it's a group whatsapp. And I took a screenshot with a camera to show the queue that I'm waiting for the taxi. I sent the same screenshot for different days. We usually have powr hour meetings on Mondays. I arrived at work and the supervisor said to me I'm disturbing the meeting. I ask that if I'm disturbing the meeting can I go outside an wait until the meetings is over. I was allowed to attend the meeting. We were asked for strategy for Sales
After that the supervisor said we are pathetic and joke. I asked that I'm not a joke and it's happed that my sales were very low compared to other months.
I snapped and told the supervisor if they don't want to at work, let them tell me straight in my face, little did I know that I was recorded without my knowledge.
The record was sent to the COO of the company. I went to hearing and I was dissmissmed due to the reason I have stated. From February this year I was let go.
I have been seeking employment until now. I had an interview and I was not successful because of dissmisal.
I did applied for sassa disability and was dinied because they said it's a chronic illness. I need to support my family
