Hypnoic jerks

Hi just after a bit of advice. I have TLE but recently having hypnoic ( not sure how to spell it) jerks at night. In my sleep. My hubby says quite a lot some nights. Is this ok do you think or should I contact my Epilepsy nurse?

Thank you for your post.

Some people can have seizures in their sleep. But many people have jerks and movements during their sleep that are not epilepsy related.

You may wish to keep a diary of these events or see if you can video some of them to share with your epilepsy nurse.
