For about 2 weeks now, on several occasions, ive been having the feeling of a warm flush in the right side of my head, a heavy whooshing sound in my right ear which is in rhythm with pulse and a sick feeling, all of which I've experienced before having a seizure but on these occasions its not lead to a seizure. Its been about 6 weeks since my last seizure and i still dont feel right. On top of this im dealing with IBD and anxiety. Going to see a neurologist at the hospital tomorrow and am wondering if when i tell her whats been going on, will they want to do some more tests? All ive had is a ct scan when i was in hospital last time.

Symptoms but no seizure

Hi Dawn43
I hope your appointment with the neurologist went well.
What you have described could be some type of focal seizure. In these seizures the epileptic activity starts in just a part of your brain. You may remain alert during this type of seizure, or you may not be aware of what is happening around you. You may have movements that you can’t control, or unusual sensations or feelings. Focal seizures can be very brief or last for minutes. And it doesn’t have to progress into a tonic-clonic seizure.

Hi thank you for replying. Neurologist has requested another mri and an eeg. Also had blood taken after outpatient appt. Had a letter from neurologists secretary yesterday and it stated that when i had a ct scan after my last seizure, its showing as i have mild periventricular small white matter disease.
