Scary morning

Hi,

Just need to get this off my chest tbh.

In the early hours of Saturday morning I was having a myclonic jerk and then I started vomiting at the same time. I couldn't sit up and I couldn't scream for help because the myclonic jerk. Thankfully both did stop but it has scared me especially at night. I had learnt to cope with the nightly jerks but this just feels on another level. I'm waiting for the Dr to get back to me but nothing ever happens at a hospital on the weekend!

Hi there, I hope you've heard back form your doctor. Seizure symptoms can be scary, especially when its something different. If you're still having seizures, or your seizures have changed you may be able to ask your epilepsy doctor for a review of your treatment.

If you're in the UK you'd be welcome to contact us at the Epilepsy Action Helpline if there's anything you'd like to talk through about your epilepsy. Our number is freephone 0808 800 5050 and we are open Monday to Friday 8.30am until 5pm and Saturday 10.00am until 4.00pm: epilepsy.org.uk/info/suppor....
