Tingling with Keppra

Hi everyone

I have recently upped my dose of keppra from 2500mg per day to 3000mg per day. I am getting regular tingling sensations in my chest and left arm, and sometimes round my shoulders and back of my neck and head. has anybody else experienced this? This is generally when I am tired but would like some feedback on other peoples experiences.

Thanks

James

Hello James

Although some people do notice a range of sensations when they make a change to their epilepsy medicines, it can be difficult to say for certain that it is related to this. It would be a good idea for you to have a chat with your epilepsy doctor/nurse about this. This will give you chance to talk about what you have noticed and check that this treatment is still the best one for you. Your GP may also be able to talk through these sensations and offer some guidance if they feel it is not related to your epilepsy medicines.
