Changes to seizure classification

Earlier this year the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) announced a revised seizure classification. This changes the way seizures are named and organised. We've updated the information about seizures on our website. You can see it here: epilepsy.org.uk/info/seizur...

Thank you for your question.

This is something that hasn’t changed. Using the term status will still be used to for prolonged seizures.
