I had a laporoscopy last year in February where I was diagnosed with endometriosis. But these past few months I have been in pain pretty much every day I know pain is usually around the time of a period but for me it seems constant! is everyone elses pain like this, or am I just abnormal?
Would love to know what it feels like to ... - Endometriosis UK
Would love to know what it feels like to be normal!!
Hi,
I can assure you're perfectly normal. Endo pain can be constant not only when on a period. Before I got diagnosed I used to have pain mostly just before & during my period but then it became constant as my endo worsened. Eventually I was diagnosed with stage 4 endo at lap as well as adenomyosis.
Hope the pain starts to ease up for u soon. Take care
Feel for you, I have those days too, where you try to remember what it's like to not actually have pain, mine is also a day where I can go without a liner or pad or tampon, as its been everyday for about five years wearing one or another. So no you're not abnormal - take care xx
This is normal yes. When I first seen a consultant (after 4 years of trying to get a Dr to believe I didn't have IBS) he told me it probably wasn't endo as I would only get pain with my period. At this point I'd been bleeding everyday for 18 months. It's constant in my hips, abdomin, chest and back passage. My lap was also last Feb and I was a lot better after, but it's all come back the past 3 months or so. I'm waiting for a camera in my bowel now. You should go back to your Dr and tell them the pain is back. Good luck x
