You do get used to them as they become more frequent, but you could ask the GP about HRT, hormone replacement therapy, to see if adding back some of the hormones will calm the flushing a bit.
To be truthful, the flushing for me was very irritating and tiring, I was flushing every 10 minutes or so, but I did get used to it. it was all the other symptoms that got stronger as time went on that actually I found much harder to cope with, and the exhaustion from weeks and weeks of very broken sleep.
Thanks a lot. This is my 3rd injection, hope to get used to it then
Definatly hrt!! I have been a bit emotional but no flushes or anything with the hrt!
I was on zoladex for two years which isn't common as there are dangers with long courses - I didn't take HRT as it made my pain and fatigue resurface. At first the hot flushes were very hard to handle as I started the treatment in the summer, and within a few months I was living in London and taking the packed tube to work. However, after a couple of months they just became part of life and they didn't bother me so much. They aren't pleasant that's for sure but they do become easier to deal with. HRT is an option but you may find it makes your endo symptoms return slightly and may stop the treatment from being as effective - for lots of women the HRT doesn't cause any problems but for me it did.
Good luck

The first time I was in zoladex for six months I didn't have HRT and I took sage tablets I had minimal flushes then none at all which I attributed to the sage tablets, maybe worth a go. x
