No cyts, does that mean no endo??

Oh, I wish I could say yes, but unfortunately the answer is no Just because there are no cysts, it doesn't mean that endo isn't lurking somewhere.

I take it you've had a scan?

Hi i had a scan yeah, just needing to go see my GP to decide what to do next xx

A scan will only show cysts and not the other types of endo. You really need a Lap done to diagnose endo properly.

Thanks guys. Booo cant see my GP until 30th july!! Been in some pain last couple of days too hate waiting

I know what you mean about waiting. Have you got some good pain relief in the meantime?

As Tendo said, the only way to properly diagnose endometriosis and how bad it is is by laparascopy - your GP should refer you back to a gynaecologist to sort that out. Once they've had a look to see what's going on in there they'll be able to decide what treatment is best for you.

Hi

I think im going to need to fight for a referral, the person who took the scan looked like she didnt believe me that i was suffering. Iv been taking feminax...but that doesnt seem to be working. my friend gave me naproxen which hit the pain but didnt make it fully go away.

I just feel like nobody believes me, especially since there were no cysts
