I’ve now had contact from the specialist centre with an initial consultation date which is a couple of weeks away (thank god). I was surprised to see it’s a telephone consultation. Has anyone experienced the same? If so, does anyone know what I can expect over the phone? I’m still irrationally terrified they’re going to tell me there’s nothing wrong and discharge me simply due to the amount of times this has happened to me previously 😩

Hiya, my first appointment was over the phone as well. The gynaecologist asked me some questions about my symptoms and we discussed endo for a bit. I was referred by my GP for suspected endo, so I think she just wanted to confirm my symptoms. She seemed to believe me which was great. She then prescribed the pill and ordered an ultrasound for me. She also said to keep a diary of symptoms, diet etc.
Thank you so much for replying. That’s good to hear. I’ll absolutely keep a diary of the month to share with them. I know how valuable that is, as it’s the only reason I’ve gotten this far. This is reassuring.
