Hi, I have been having symptoms of Endometriosis for a lot of years now and recently in November I had my first laparoscopy which was done by a general gynaecologist, he said he found nothing but I had adhesions where my small bowel was to my abdominal wall. I haven’t had any previous surgeries and I have read online adhesions are caused by previous surgery or endometriosis is likely. Had any one else been in this situation where they have been told they don’t have it? I think I may need a second opinion. Does anyone know of any endometriosis specialists or recommend anyone in the North East of England. Help would be much appreciated, thank you.

hi there! This happened to me too. Lap showed adhesions which were removed but they said no endo. They can't say why the adhesions were there. My symptoms persisted post lap so I am now on prostap injections for three months which I'm coming to the end of now. I'm wondering if something was missed on the lap? Its so hard to know what to do isnt it? I am going to try and push for a referral to endo specialist at next app. A second opinion sounds like a wise course of action.
