Coming off Prostap side effects?

Hi

I had my last Prostap injection (the one that lasts for 3 months) back in November and should have had my next on Feb 13th but that was my op date in the end!

Anyway since I’ve been off it by skin has been terrible! I’ve never suffered with spots but I’ve got loads of really painful boil like spots on my face (especially jawline) and in my hair and hairline! Just wondered if anyone else had experienced this?

Hi there. I get really bad acne from my hormone meds on my jaw line. Really painful lumps. I use hydromol on it and not much else. Occasionally I'll use a colloidal face mask with cocobalsalm I think it's called. It's oat powder with a plant active that's meant to reduce oil and heal the scarring. The hydromol is gentle enough that it doesn't upset the pH so I don't worry about toner and moisturiser that often.

The other thing I'd be worried about is you have a lot of lymph nodes around the jaw (like when you get a sore throat and these huge painful lumps come up) if it's that, it's your poor body is tired and under the weather and it's fighting infection. If its too painful and your struggling to breathe phone the Dr.
