Best apps for tracking cycle after hysterectomy

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for useful apps for tracking your cycle after a hysterectomy? Back in Feb i had a hysterectomy and a small bowel resection, they left both ovaries. The recoveries not gone to plan. Was meant to be able to run/start yoga again after the 3 month mark, but still get huge pain after lifting anything heavier than say a full kettle, or if i use my core. I also just get random flare ups of pain.

My ovary was left so i still go through cycles and i had a really debilitating flare last week, I’ve been trying to track it on the cycle app on my iPhone. I can log cramps etc, but it just seems to think I’m having one very long 200+ day period, but the last time i had cramps was 27 days ago (which then disappeared when I added the new cramps). Suggesting either issues with the ovaries or flares when i would have previously had a bleed. I’m currently awaiting an op for suspected adhesions/or regrowth.

Thinking ahead I’m also keen to track so can understand when the menopause eventually comes. Does anyone have any suggestions for apps that can handle tracking symptoms and spotting cyclical patterns that can cope also with the idea of you not having periods?

Thanks Kieraface, I’ve an Apple Watch so will need to look into if you can use fit bit tracking without the wearable. Thanks for coming back to me! x
