I've got my first Gynae appt (via phone) tomorrow after being referred by my GP back in May. I have PCOS and suspected Endometriosis. I'm already compiling a list of questions to ask and have looked at the NHS/Endometriosis UK website for their guidance too, but I wondered if there's anything from your lived experience that I should ask that I might not have thought of? Or maybe questions, with hindsight, that you wished you'd asked at your first appointment?
I'm feeling a bit anxious about the appointment (hello anxiety life!) and also don't really know what to expect, so any advice or reassurance welcome! Thanks so much in advance 🙂

It looks like you are doing the right things in writing stuff down that you want to ask and checking the website.
Make a bit of all your symptoms as well, what makes things worse, etc. You think you’ll remember something so easy but minds do tend to go blank with drs 🙂
Hi Moon_maiden, thanks so much for your message and luck. It actually went okay - I was so worried I'd just be gaslit but the Dr said he's concerned about Endo and wants to do further blood tests and then a laporoscopy. So keeping everything crossed it's not a super long wait 🤞
